Dear Friends:

We have now officially hit the winter months which is the toughest time of year in the restaurant business. In efforts to build business and gain a consistent flow of patrons into our fine establishments, a few of us have proposed to host a North End Winter Restaurant Week. I'm sure you all would agree that Winter Restaurant Week, which takes place March 14th-19th and 21st-26th, has offered great relief to our businesses in the winter months. Our idea is to extend our Winter Restaurant Week menus through the following two weeks after (March 28th-April 2nd and April 4th-April 9th), creating the first ever North End Restaurant Week sponsored by the North End Chamber of Commerce.

To participate, the Chamber will be asking for an additional $200 fee which will allow us the funds to advertise in local publications such as The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald and community newspapers - The Regional Review, Post Gazette and The Beacon Hill Times. With that money, we will also provide each restaurant with flyers and signage to display in its window promoting North End Restaurant Week. With your support, we anticipate a surge in business as well as many publicity opportunities.
