The Chamber was formed in 2005 to give voice and presence to the North End's business community. Our goals in 2010 express our unified commitment to the revitalization of the North End.

Our mission includes:

• Working with other chambers and regions of Italy to bring the finest food products, wines, art, mentality and designs to enhance our Italian community.
• Establishing a taxi zone in the North End, so that we free up traffic on the weekends, and making it more accommodating for people taking taxis to the North End.
• Publishing a yearly information book about the North End, and all it has to offer. This book will feature the members of the North End Chamber of Commerce and will be distributed through out the North End. It also will be sent to Boston hotels, concierges, travel and tourist, convention centers, and hospitality affiliated associations in New England.
• Decorating the North End with Christmas lights for the holidays.
• Initiating a health insurance plan for our members and their employees.
• Producing a commercial about the North End to be run on cable stations, such as The Phantom Gourmet, TV Diner, and The Food Channel.
• Providing support to members engaging in expansion or growth in structure by providing letters of recommendation to any of the Boston licensing boards. We are all for making your dream the best it can be.
• Expanding our website to better promote the North End Chamber of Commerce and its members. This website will kick off an aggressive plan to market the North End nationwide.

Our first year will be one of growth. We'll change the face of the North End, bring more business to our community, and offer more services to our members.
